Enabling and Disabling the Tracing Microservice

The Composer tracing microservice for all Composer microservices is enabled by default. You can enable or disable the tracing microservice using the tracing.enabled property in the properties file for each Composer microservice. When this property is set to true, the tracing microservice is enabled, when it is set to false, the tracing microservice is disabled.

A complete list of the connector property files in Composer can be found in Configuration Property Files. If you cannot locate a properties file in /etc/zoomdata/, copy it from /opt/zoomdata/conf.

To enable or disable tracing, edit the properties files using a text editor. After changing the tracing.enabled property, save the file and restart the microservice. See Manage Composer v5 Microservices Using the Command Line Utility.

Web browser access is available on port 9411 (by default), however the interface does not require authentication at this time and access can only be restricted at the firewall.
