Before proceeding with any upgrade to this release, please read Composer 5.9.x Installation and Upgrade Process for Multiple Context Paths.

The following changes and problem resolutions have been made in this release.

  • Resolved LDAP errors that occurred when logging in as a user whose Composer account was changed since the LDAP user definitions were established.

  • New actions for visuals when you save a dashboard or save a copy of a dashboard now allow you to:

    • Save the visual when you save the dashboard using a new Save option.

    • Save a copy of a visual you have changed before you save the dashboard using a new Save a Copy option.

    • Undo the changes you made to a visual before you save the dashboard using a new Undo Changes option.

The actions available are based on the state of the visual (changed or unchanged), whether or not you authored (created) the dashboard or visual, and on the authorization settings of the user. For example, you cannot save changes to a visual you have not created unless you have the Can Manage Visuals privilege, although you can save a copy of the visual.

See Saving a Dashboard and Copying a Dashboard.

  • Corrected some microservice startup problems caused by the Java 11 upgrade.

  • The support link in Composer has been changed to https://devnet.logianalytics.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.

  • Dark themes now work correctly with line charts.
