Use the Charts tab in the data source configuration wizard to define the default settings for charts created using the data source configuration. When you create charts using this data source, the default chart settings are initially applied (and can be changed). See Chart Setup for details.

Settings that are common for all chart styles can be accessed by selecting Global Default Settings on the tab. Global default settings allow you to set time bar and search box settings that apply to all chart styles for the data source. See Configuring Time Bar Defaults and Configuring Search Box Defaults.
The Standard tab lists the standard charts provided with Zoomdata.The Custom tab lists any custom charts you have defined. To access the default settings for a chart, select it on the tab. For example, to manage the default bar chart settings for your data source, select Bars. Chart settings vary by chart style.
To make a given chart style available for the data source, be sure its checkbox is selected (checked ) on the tab. For information on the specific settings available for a standard chart style, select it below.

- Donut charts
- Heat maps
- KPI charts
- Line charts (includes line & bar, attribute values, and multiple metrics)
- Maps (includes markers, U.S. regions, and world countries)
- Pie charts
- Scatter (bubble) charts (includes floating bubble, packed bubble, and scatter plots)
- Tables (includes pivot and raw data)
- Tree maps
- Word clouds
When you are finished, click .
After you save a data source configuration, its default chart settings for each chart selected on the Charts tab are stored. All available (non-hidden) fields are automatically included in these default chart settings.
When your data source configuration is saved, it appears under My Data Sources on the Data Sources Page.
