Starting Zoomdata Services

Select your server's operating system for the appropriate command to start all Zoomdata services:

The list of Zoomdata services can be found in Zoomdata Service Name Reference. The order in which services should be started is described in Zoomdata Service Startup Order.

You can also start Zoomdata services using the CLI. See Managing Zoomdata Services Using the Command Line Utility.

CentOS v6/ Ubuntu v14

To start all Zoomdata services, enter the following command:

ls /etc/init.d/zoomdata* | xargs -n1 basename | xargs -I % sudo service % start

To start a specific Zoomdata service, enter the following command:

sudo service <service> start

Replace <service> with the name of the Zoomdata service. See Zoomdata Service Name Reference.

CentOS v7/ Ubuntu v16

To start all Zoomdata services, enter the following command:

sudo systemctl start $(systemctl list-unit-files | grep zoomdata | awk '{print $1}')

To start a specific Zoomdata service, enter the following command:

sudo systemctl start <service>

Replace <service> with the name of the Zoomdata service. See Zoomdata Service Name Reference.
